Client Problem:

A high-tech manufacturing company needed to rollout a new software application across several plants around the globe. It needed to create manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) along with detailed work instructions to upgrade their workforce to the new application system. This needed to be done in a relatively short period of time and in multiple languages. The client is a full-service manufacturer of precision products and value-added services for medical, electronic, consumer and industrial automotive markets.

Solution:

The client selected ExpressTrain and its manufacturing SOP software and templates as the tool for developing and converting all of the manufacturing SOPs and work instructions. The client hired us to to configure our software to meet their particular requirements, to help them create a single-source repository of all their SOPs and work instructions, taking advantage of our development capabilities to complete the project on time.

Results:

The client was able to utilize ExpressTrain and our services to meet the requirements for the rollout of their new software product and due to its success, they are now looking to expand the use of ExpressTrain to other parts of the company.
