Client Problem
A major consumer products company was merging with another. They needed to train several hundred field representatives in the proper SOPs for placing an order, providing information for products, and submitting information back to the software control systems. They used ExpressTrain's standard operating procedure template (sop template). Each of these two organizations had to learn the other company's SOPs for executing business. The cross training had to happen quickly. The acquiring company bought ExpressTrain to train both sets of field reps in the SOPs for placing orders. We created for them a training model that emphasized how to follow standard operating procedure templates (sop templates) by providing web based training and online job aids, specifically targeted at each audience.
