Client Problem:

U.S. Embassies were having Y2K-related problems with a software application. Therefore the USDA changed to a Y2K compliant software application, but they needed a way to deliver information on this new software worldwide.

Solution:

PCES, utilizing its training template created the program to support the worldwide rollout of a Y2K-compliant support application by USDA's Foreign Agricultural Services division. In just 45 days, we provided the USDA with a CD-ROM of 11 desktop modules for distribution to 150 embassies around the world.

Financial Impact:

The USDA has adopted this technique, utilizing PCES and its training template as the main development process for the Foreign Agricultural Agency. Due to cost savings and budget reduction the USDA intends to expand its use to the Internet for worldwide on-demand delivery.
